The men's teams are divided into four pools: Pool A (B.Tech III-A, B.Tech II-A, B.Tech I-B), Pool B (M.Tech II, B.Tech I-A, PhD), Pool C (B.Tech IV, Localite, B.Tech II-B), and Pool D (M.Sc, B.Tech III-B, M.Tech I).

2. Who is eligible to participate in the tournament?

Participation is open to the entire SVNIT community, including B.Tech, M.Sc, M.Tech, and Ph.D. students, as well as localites, mess staff, and faculty members.

3. What is MMNCT and why is it organized?

It is SVNIT's biggest day-night cricket tournament, organized by the Bihar Students Alumni Chapter in memory of late Shri Manoj Kumar, a cricket lover who passed away from dengue fever.

4. When is the final match scheduled?

The Men's Final January 26th at 02:00 PM.

5. When and where will the 19th edition of MMNCT take place?

The 19th edition of MMNCT will be held from January 23rd to January 26th, 2026, at the SAC Ground, SVNIT.

6. How is the SAC ground arranged for MMNCT?

The SAC ground features a commentary box, a main stage, a Rest Corner, multiple stalls, and banners mounted on the floodlights.

7. What kind of gear is used in the tournament?

A total of 21 teams are participating this year, which includes 15 men's teams and 6 women's teams.

Yes, MMNCT is the only event at SVNIT where faculty members actively participate along with students. More than 50 faculty members are involved, some since the very first season.

MMNCT is organized by the Bihar Students Alumni Chapter in association with the SVNIT Hostel Office. The event includes Title Sponsors, Co-Sponsors, and gear partners such as Decathlon.

Each match attracts over 2,000+ spectators. Apart from cricket, attendees can enjoy a unique mascot for the edition and explore various stalls set up around the ground.

13. What is the match format for the knockout stages?

The tournament consists of more than 25 league matches, followed by two semi-finals of 10 overs each, and then the grand finale of 12 overs.
